Republican Senators voted to protect rapists

Idaho's senators should have bucked their party
I think our senators need a big "shame on you!" for voting against the Franken amendment that would withhold taxpayer funding from government contractors who stipulate that victims of sexual assault and discrimination cannot sue their employer. That's right - Sen. Crapo and Sen. Risch both feel that victims of rape are not deserving of the same justice as any other victim.
I can't quite figure it out. Why would Idaho's senators vote against something that seems so just? Partisan politics is all that comes to mind. All 30 senators who voted "no" were Republicans. I have seen a lot of "no" votes and rhetoric, but not any kind of real action from our "team" in Idaho.
Shame on you, senators, for voting for rape. You should have voted your conscience, not your party. I hope that every woman, parent and good decent person is as outraged about this as I am. You have broken all faith that Republicans from Idaho really care about Idaho. Shame on you.
